Delete your account
One click and your Scoreflection account is gone. This cannot be undone, and the link works once.
What is erased: your sign-in, your subscription, your ratings and your account data. Any subscription is cancelled first, so you are not billed again.
You do not have to delete anything to stop paying. Cancelling your contract is the smaller step and keeps your account, your library and everything you have imported. Deleting cancels as well, so you only ever need one of the two.
Three things survive, and none of them names you afterwards:
- Scores you donated stay in the shared library, with the donation no longer attributed to you.
- Moderation reports you filed stay, with the report no longer naming you.
- Our security log keeps a record that the account existed, with your address removed from it.
Practice statistics and any audio you contributed are separate and are erased from the app, under Settings → Data Sharing → Erase now.
Asking us to delete it
The quickest way is in the app: Account → Delete account. That sends the confirmation link that brings you back to this page.
If you cannot get into the app, write to us from the address the account uses — see Contact — and say that you want the account deleted. We will confirm it by email to that same address before anything is erased, because a request that arrives by mail is only as good as the mailbox it came from.
Either way it is done within a month, and usually the same day (Art. 12 (3) GDPR).
